On Saturday, February 25, 13 waggons of a freight train bound to Dunaújváros has derailed at Rácalmás. Recovery is going to begin on Sunday, involving two railway cranes and hydraulic equipment, after the overhead wire system is dismantled. The steel works and the port at Dunaújváros requires continous supply, so freight will be detoured via line 40 and 43.
A stack train collided with a loaded 4-axle gravel truck on October 20 at a grade crossing.
The truck was coming from the nearby mine, the driver ignored the operating crossing signals. The engine derailed and felt on its side along with the first three cars. Unfortunately, the engineer was killed instantly, the truck driver died at the hospital.
Recovery of the derailed equipment took place between 2010.11.13 and 14.
